About the School: The Ailey School is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD). The Ailey School is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an institution of higher education and is eligible to participate in Title IV programs.
The Ailey School is recognized by the US Veterans Administration as an eligible school to participate in Veteran’s Educational Benefit Programs. The Ailey School is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.

Alumni:
The Ailey School’s alumni have pursued successful performing arts careers as dancers in companies and theater productions including Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ailey II, Ballett Frankfurt, Ballet Hispanico, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Complexions, Dance Theater of Harlem, Alonso King’s Lines Ballet, Elisa Monte Dance Company, Martha Graham Dance Company, José Limón Dance Company, Philadanco, The Lion King, The King and I, The Color Purple, Movin’ Out, and The Radio City Rockettes. Other graduates are producers, teachers, choreographers, administrators and life-long supporters of dance.

Financial Aid:
At The Ailey School financial aid is available to qualified students who enroll in the Certificate Program and Independent Study Program. Students with demonstrated need will be considered for assistance from the following programs:
