About Bard College: Bard College, founded in 1860, is a small, selective four-year liberal arts college located in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. This New York liberal arts college offers students a liberal arts and sciences education. Bard College is highly selective, and nearly two-thirds of incoming freshmen graduated within the top 10 percent of their high school class.
Bard College offers more than 40 majors in its four divisions: Arts; Languages and Literature; Science, Mathematics, and Computing; and Social Studies. Students can also pursue a dual degree through the Bard College Conservatory of Music, earning a bachelor’s degree in music and a Bachelor of Arts in another field. At the graduate level, Bard College offers master’s degrees in fine arts, curatorial studies, environmental policy, teaching, and music.
